Dave Lordan is a multi-award winning writer, and an experienced teacher and workshop leader offering a range of tailored workshops at adult, secondary and primary school levels. In 2010 the Irish Times called his poetry ‘as brilliant on the page as it is in performance’. He is a past winner of both the Patrick Kavanagh and Rupert and Eithne Strong Awards for poetry. He writes regularly on literary topics for Ireland’s leading literary magazine The Stinging Fly and he reviews poetry and fiction for RTE Radio 1’s Arena arts show, who also regularly broadcast Dave’s poetry. He is an acclaimed performer of his own work and is regularly invited to perform at venues and festivals throughout Ireland and abroad.
